Remember to always make backups of your files!

1. Unzip the full phpFan zip file.
2. Delete all the old files except conf.inc.php. Leave the folders, including the cache folder.
3. Upload all the new files except conf.inc.php, look at new conf.inc.php file, transfer old information.
4. Upload the conf.inc.php file.
5. Login to your phpFan admin control panel and run ‘Upgrade?’ underneath ‘Maintenance’.
6. If everything goes correctly delete upgrade.php, sql.php, sqlinstall.php, and install.php.
