Upgrade from 3.1/3.1.1 to 3.3
Remember to always make backups of all your files!
- Unzip the full phpFan zip file.
- Delete all the old files except conf.inc.php. Leave the folders, including the cache folder.
- Upload all the new files except conf.inc.php, look at new conf.inc.php file, transfer old information. Remember to change your secret word!
- Login to your phpFan admin control panel and run ‘Upgrade?’ underneath ‘Maintenance’.
- If everything goes correctly delete upgrade.php, sql.php, sqlinstall.php, and install.php.
- Login to your phpFan admin control panel and run ‘Upgrade?’ underneath ‘Maintenance’.
